I have to say, it’s becoming more than a little frustrating that SHS never has any info about photos like this (where from, where photographed), even after clicking the link.
There’s lazyblogging and there’s just plain lazy blogging. I might have to unfollow and start reblogging Apartment Therapy pics. At least those have some credits.
I feel exactly the same way. I stopped following them (apparently this is a group effort) because, even though the pics are gorgeous and inspiring, they quickly become boring when there is no context whatsoever. Who is the photographer? Where is this? In cases where there is an interior, who is the designer? What other work have they done? Etc., etc.
In addition, I had two of my own photos reblogged with my info stripped off. Why do that? Why not let others know whose work it is? And the thing is, I’m not so sure “lazy” is the answer. Isn’t it easier to include the original info, rather than take the extra step to strip it off?
