My mom returned from Vienna today and brought me this Easter egg from Demel. It’s a real egg that has been emptied, hand painted, filled with chocolate truffle and finished with a wax seal.

Don’t know if I can bear to eat it, but I’ll keep you posted. ;)

Nice sunset tonight

I’m a big fan of lichen (who isn’t?) and today I found this piece of lichen-covered bark on the ground. I’m going to see if I can keep it alive inside. From what I understand, a spray bottle of water is all I need. If it doesn’t do well, I’ll take it out to live on the balcony.
